National Spot Exchange to signs MoU with Bihar

The National Spot Exchange has informed that it will soon ink a pact with the Bihar Government seeking to spread out its area of operation in the fields of agriculture as well as food processing.

As per official sources, the exchange is a pan-India institutionalised, transparent delivery-based electronic spot exchange which allows the farmers to market farm produce directly to the processors as well as exporters situated anywhere in India.

Sources added that the National Spot Exchange is already functional in seven states comprising Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.
