Fresh arrival in Samsung Electronics-“BADA”
Samsung Electronics, ruled out its own operating system and the company will launch its new handsets based on this OS -“BADA”, this year.
Mr. Ranjit Yadav, Director, Mobile and IT said that, Dual sim phones are expected to capture 15% of its total handset volumes. He strongly believes in these handsets, seeing that these handsets will provide better performance to the users.
He further told that dual sim handsets will help the clients to keep apart their personal and official transactions, it will also help the user to avoid carrying 2 or 3 handsets at one time, it also provide various attractive offers from the different service providers.
Mr Yadav also said, “Samsung also introduce a Java application store on Samsung Fun Club and this will solve the purpose of downloading the applications and customizing them to meet the user’s needs.”
Many proposals are in the queue, which are desired to be incorporated on Samsung Fun Club. Around ten applications will be uploaded by the end of this month. Samsung is also working with Indian developers to build up new applications for –BADA.
He also told the sources, last year Samsung’s was ruling the market by capturing 15.7% in terms of volume and 20% in terms of value. In 2010, company is planning to put attention on each and every aspect, like touch screen, dual sim and 3G complaint handsets. With these plans in hand company is expecting a growth rate of 8%-10%.
