No to honey contagion by Australian company
Today the Australian firm, Capilano rejected a report that honey sold by it engrosses elevated level of antibiotics than the prearranged standards. It expressed that it manufactures hygienic honey and sell abroad to over 40 countries, including India.
The group was acting in response to a study done by the Centre for Science and Environment which states yesterday that well-known honey counting the Capilano's sold in India might be adulterated with unsafe antibiotics. It had done tests on 12 main brands of honey sold in the national capital, which includes the one made by Indian companies and over and above by two foreign firms that includes Capilano.
CSE Scientists had asserted that they have discovered elevated levels of six hazardous antibiotics in 11 samples and asserted that extended uncovering to these may turn to hostile health consequences.
Though, Capilano in a report stated that its own test outcome on the sets of honey, recognized by the dates on the wrapping of the product branded in reports, depicts no exposure of the scum suspected to be in the honey.
The company further made clear while rejecting the CSE findings that these dates point out a product that was purportedly packed by Capilano 30 months before.
