Today the Supreme Court declined to continue an investigation by impartial trade watchdog, CCI into suspected anti - gung ho attempts by Kingfisher Airlines, compelling the Vijay Mallya- endorsed flight to pull out its plea confronting the inquiry.

A counter headed by Chief Justice S H Kapadia questioned the carrier to deal with the Competition Commission of India (CCI) prod into supposed cartelization in the aviation industry via its two-year-old calculated coalition with market main Jet Airways.

Trailing the apex court judgement, Kingfisher hunted to pull out its appeal. The counter, that too had Justices Swatanter Kumar and K S Radhakrishnan as affiliates, permitted the carrier to accomplish so.
