Super Hercules, India's latest airlifter takes offSuper Hercules airlifter, India's first C-130J plane, has completed its first flight. These planes are known as the most superior transport aircraft in the world. India has given the order of six planes.

On Monday, the plane, which has donned the colors of Indian Air Force completed it first flight at Marietta Plant in Georgia. Lockheed Martin, the manufacturing company had released the photographs of the first flight of the plane.

Before its delivery in December, the aircraft will go through a series of customer and company tests for performance, durability and comfort. Within some next weeks, the second and third aircrafts will become ready to fly in the sky.

According to the Lockheed Martin, India's India's six stretched-fuselage C-130J-30s, which are bought from the US for $1 billion in a business deal, will provide Indian Air Force and Indian Army, the new special and strategic operations capabilities by using the world's most superior airlifter.

The airlifter has been equipped with custom-made operational equipment, which is unique to Indian conditions and it will give Indian Air Force an edge in airdrops, landing in blackout conditions and low-level flying operations.
