A new demo offering a peek into Bodycount's early African missions in the single player campaign has been released on on Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

The 1.45 GB download will allow users to try out the single player campaign takingpalce in Africa and get an early preview of the much anticipated game. Bodycount is a dynamic and action-packed gun fighting game with some enormous weapons including G36 SMG, the Super 90 Shotgun as well as grenades and proximity mines.

"Fans should expect a lot of mayhem, a lot of destruction, fun, fast paced arcade action. It's much more of an A-Team experience than some sort of dour, self-obsessed, self-important thing. If you want to have fun, play Bodycount," said the game's art director Max Cant.

Bodycount will release on the Xbox 360 and PS3 on 30 August.
