Detectives don’t need to leave the office to track you down

Brisbane, June 9 : A Queensland-based private detective says that the advancement of spy technology has made it very easy to obtain any sort of information about a person without having to leave one’s office.

Mick Featherstone of Gold Coast firm Phoenix Global says that he can track his target’s car through satellite, hack any computer, plant miniature cameras, divert mobile phones, and even retrieve text messages deleted weeks before.

And, all these purposes can be served with the same technology as is widely available to the public.

He says that an increasing number of people are sure that modern technology can catch a spouse cheating on his/her partner.

"Technology is really sophisticated these days and clients want me to use any gadgets and devices available to catch out whoever they suspect of infidelity," Brisbane. com. au quoted him as saying.

"Over the last three years there has been steady growth in what already is a massive industry," he added.

Featherstone also revealed that he often suggested his clients that they better became gumshoe detectives, instead of ending up paying huge amounts of money to professionals.

"People often get really hung up on the James Bond technology scenario but I usually tell them that there are far cheaper and easier ways, such as checking telephone and credit card records," he said.

But still, he added, clients wish to have the full service, no matter how much they would have to pay for that.

Featherstone admitted that Australian laws prohibited trespass and invasion of privacy, but insisted that any person who had been caught out would rarely take the matter to police. (ANI)
