Medical Education & Research Minister Tikshan Sud, on Thursday, issued a strict notice of de-recognition to all those Private Medical/ Homeopathic/Nursing Ayurvedic and Para-Medical colleges running from a place for which they had not been given authorization by the State Government.

In a declaration, the Minister stated that recent inspection carried out by a special group of the Department has disclosed obtrusive irregularities including shifting the location of Medical institutions from the certified location.

He said that State Government was thinking over harsh action that includes de-recognition against all such error-prone colleges, if they failed to transfer the College to the authorized place.

The minister also said that SAD-BJP government was committed to offer top-notch medical education infrastructure to the pupils and any lapse by any medical institution would not be tolerated.

Sud further said that Baba Farid Medical University had already conducted PMET test in a successful manner and counseling was underway.

Sud informed that all necessary steps are to be taken to provide adequate faculty to the Medical and Dental Colleges and Departmental Promotion Committee conferences are being held in sequence to encourage suitable faculty members of Medical Colleges.
