Signifying the progression of technology from desktops to laptops, and to pockets, Nokia’s latest “mobile computer” Nokia N97 was unleashed in India on Monday, with Nokia India announcing the availability of the super smartphone N97 at its retail outlets throughout the country.

Sounding pretty confident about Nokia N97, the Director-Marketing, Nokia India, Vineet Taneja said that Nokia N97 is the most mighty multi-sensory mobile phone uptil now. The mobile computer Nokia N97, powered by a slew of  media and applications through the Ovi Store, delivers highly personalized Internet experience, suiting the interests and tastes of its users. Nokia N97 has Ovi Store on board providing a rich bouquet of VAS. 
  
Nokia India declared that it has tied up with HDFC and Citibank to offer 3 month EMI option at 0% interest rate to help people buy Nokia N97, which is priced around Rs. 36,000. The offer is presently limitedly available at selected outlets in metros and select cities and towns.

Nokia India also disclosed that the Vodafone subscribers purchasing Nokia N97 will get free data plan for 3 months. In addition, the Vodafone subscribers could also win exclusive access to ’The Groove’ lifestyle widget.
