Nokia launches 8MP Smartphone
Making an entry in the high mega pixel Smartphone portfolio, world's top handset manufacturer Nokia has introduced an 8 mega pixel N-series mobile phone, N86 in the Indian market. The product is aimed to challenge rivals Samsung and Sony Ericsson, who already have presence in the high pixel camera phones with 8-10 mega pixel cams.
The new product supports WCDMA/HSDPA, EGSM, and WLAN to offer highly reliable mobile telephony based on particular frequencies available in the region. It consists of 2.6" Active Matrix OLED display and orientation sensor for the customers to enjoy videos, music, and graphics.
It is capable of USB charging with simultaneous data transfer and consists of flash light 3.1. Its 8MP point-and-shoot camera is equipped with dual LED flash and Carl Zeiss Optics for vey fine quality pictures and videos.
The company aims to strengthen its customer base through the sale of product, eroded significantly in the January-March period this year due to decline in sales.
8MP Smartphone, available in Indigo Black and White colors across leading mobile stores, is priced at Rs 27359.
