Nokia ties up with three new UK distributors

Handset maker, Nokia has tied with three new UK distributors namely, Micro-P, Ingram Micro and Kondor replacing current distributors, Data Select and 20:20 Mobile.

The move is aimed at increasing the company’s presence in IT resellers and independent retailers in the UK. Nokia is also introducing a partner network designed to provide product training, device seeding, sales support and care to telecom dealers, IT resellers and independent retail store customers.

Micro-P will manage Nokia’s consumer and business telecom dealer channel and Ingram Micro will be in charge of its distributor within the business IT reseller channel.

The company’s relationship has also expanded and it will become franchise accessories partner.

James Kitto, Nokia UK’s head of retail & distribution said, “It is an incredibly exciting time for Nokia in the UK, and we are delighted to be bringing on-board new partners with the capabilities and approach that align with our vision and strategic growth plans.”

He also said that the revival of Nokia channels and the launch of Nokia UK Partner Network will allow the company to drive value for the entire ecosystem and aldo offer best service to customers in the UK.
