After the recent launch of Barnes & Noble’s Nook e-reader, many had criticized the device not lacking a native browser, more so because it is a Android device. It turns out the device features a hidden built-in Web browser.

A new video released on ‘The eBook Reader’ shows the browser’s capabilities. A user can simply press the virtual "Search" button at the bottom of Nook's screen and type in a YRL address in the bar.

Barnes & Noble might improve the browser through updates as the touch-screen navigation offers an improved browsing on e-book readers. Both the Kindle and first-edition Nook came with browsers, but many users complained that they do not work well.

Amazon and Barnes & Noble regularly offer many feature additions and improvements though firmware updates on their e-book readers.
