Opposition Demands Due Credit Should be Given to Centre for Help to HPOpposition Congress blamed BJP Government in Himachal Pradesh for not offering the centre its due credit for help to the province.

State MLA Kaul Singh Thakur raised the problem of corruption and the current CD controversy in the Motion of Thanks on the Governor's address, to forecast that the Government would be unable to recuperate the damages that have been made to its reputation.

Thakur also applauded the Government for its ideas on the protection of the environment and the implementation of Shimla Declaration at the Chief Ministers' meeting on global warming.

Thakur planned to introduce CNG buses in Shimla to reduce the pollution in the province.

Thakur also argued with Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal during his speech, beleaguered the Government's plan to encourage cement industry, which is a main cause of pollution. The CM revealed that the Congress Government had approved the cement plants.

BJP President Khimi Ram revealed that the people had sanctioned the growth of the policies made by Government.
