Pakistani hubby stole my baby, says Malaysian woman

Kuala Lumpur, Aug. 7 : A Malaysian woman has claimed that her three-month-old baby was abducted by her Pakistani husband and taken to Dubai.

Salwanis Maaz, 31, said her husband, Nasir Mahmood Qadri Nisar Ahmad, 39, had taken their son, Muhammad Bilal, on July 26.

The New Strait Times quoted Salwanis as saying: "A few days before they disappeared, my husband brought several people to our home. He introduced them as his cousins and received RM 3,000 from them. A few days later, he received another RM 20,000, which he claimed was another gift from his cousins."

The next morning, Nasir told Salwanis that he wanted to go out and took their son with him. That was the last Salwanis saw her son.

"After a few hours, I tried to contact him, but failed. I managed to find out from friends that he was at the airport. Later, the police told me my husband had taken my son to Dubai," she said.

Salwanis said she had met her husband through the Internet and they got married five months later.

Interpol has now been approached to locate the missing baby. (ANI)
