World asks for Qadeer access in Munich ConferenceMunich, Feb. 7: The world is worried over the acquittal of disgraced Pak scientist Dr. A. Q. Khan, and this concern was reciprocated during the ongoing 45th Munich Conference by major participating countries, The News reports.

Key participating countries in the conference have asked Islamabad to allow them an access to Khan, who was freed from house arrest after charges of illegal trade of nuclear techniques were put down by a court on Friday.

According to Democratic Representative Howard Berman, the decision to set Khan free, who had been under house arrest for five years, was `very alarming', and the US will certainly take into account the decision while deciding aid to Islamabad.

"I am very much concerned and will have more to say about that," Clinton said during a brief appearance before the news media with visiting Philippine President Gloria Arroyo.

Abdul Qadir Khan.jpg Islamabad, Feb. 6 : Disgraced Pakistani scientist Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan, who was acquitted by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday on charges of nuclear proliferation, said the issue of his acquittal was between him and the Pakistan Government, and had nothing to do with the United States.

Talking to media after the IHC's decision to lift orders of house arrest, Khan said: "I am satisfied with the decision of the court."

He refrained from commenting on his relations with Al-Qaeda and other terrorist outfits saying: "I don't want to delve in the past incidents."
