Brisbane, Sep. 30 : Andrew Symonds is loving life outside the cricketing establishment, and believes that he stands on the cusp of cricket''s new freelance frontier.
Since being sacked from the Australian team on disciplinary grounds, Symonds has immersed himself in training and strapping duties with the Queensland Broncos, running training drills so many times he could have replaced Peter Wallace.

Melbourne, Sep 27 : The Brisbane Broncos, an Australian professional rugby league football club, has adopted troubled all rounder Andrew Symonds as their 18th player.
Coach Ivan Henjak invited Symonds to join his squad two months ago to help his younger players deal with the pressure of football.
Symonds has an unpaid role, but he attends every training session and flew to Melbourne for last night’s preliminary final against the Storm, FOX Sports reported.

Symonds returned late after drinking pints of beer while watching rugby match between NSW and Queensland at a pub which became reason for dumping him from the Australian squad for the ICC T20 World Cup.
Cricket Australia had said Symonds had breached an alcohol-related team agreement due to which he was axed from the Australian squad.

Cricket Australia (CA) has announced that CA will offer South Australian fast bowler Shaun Tait a contract which has been withdrawn from the all-rounder Andrew Symonds.
Symonds was knocked out from the Australian squad for the ICC T20 World Cup after he was charged with breaching of discipline norms during the ICC T20 World Cup.

Cricket Australia officials said that Symonds had been axed from the Australian team after breaking team rules related to alcohol and some other issues.
This decision has been taken after absence of Symonds in a training camp on Thursday.

An intoxicated Symonds was reportedly spotted being punted by security at the Watt Bar at the Powerhouse in New Farm, Brisbane, despite Queensland Cricket this morning saying his rehabilitation was on track.
