Mumbai, Sep 20 : Actor Anil Kapoor has teamed up with CNN for Trapped By Tradition; A CNN Freedom Project Documentary, about human trafficking, and says education is the prime solution for the problem.
As a special contributor to the CNN Freedom Project, Anil visited Bharatpur, where families apparently sell young girls and women as a tradition.

New Delhi, July 1 : A lot has been written about Anil Kapoor's presence in one of the biggest Hollywood franchises, "Mission Impossible 4", but the his absence from the movie's first trailer has raised questions among his fans.
Fans took to Twitter to express their resentment with Anil's no-show in the trailer of "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol", which is otherwise high on action from Hollywood star Tom Cruise, who plays the role of spy Ethan Hunt.
Anil to shoot for Hollywood film 'Cities' in November

New Delhi, June 17 : Anil Kapoor's Hollywood career seems to be going in the right direction - after completing shooting for "Mission: Impossible 4", he is set to begin shooting for his next Hollywood film "Cities" with Clive Owen.
"I have finished shooting for 'Mission: Impossible 4' and it is now in post production. I will start shooting for 'Cities'. It's my pleasure to work with Clive Owen, whom I admire a lot," said Anil.

Los Angeles, May 4 : Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor has bagged another Hollywood project - he is set to share screen space with Clive Owen in Roger Donaldson's thriller "Cities".
Anil will be seen playing a cop in the film about greed and ambition that takes place on a global scale in three colliding story lines, reports hollywoodreporter. com. The first story involves a New York-based hedge fund manager
(Owen), who has everything he wants - money, sex and power - but he wants more.

Mumbai, April 6 : Anil Kapoor opted out of "Thank You" because he was not comfortable playing a Casanova in a film featuring his daughter Sonam and that is when Irrfan Khan stepped in to do his first-ever masala comedy."Yes, we did replace Anil with Irrfan. But what to do? Casting circumstances changed in 'Thank You'. And it was no longer decorous to cast Anil Kapoor," said Bazmee.
Bobby Deol, Akshay Kumar, Irrfan, Suniel Shetty, Celina Jaitely and Rimi Sen forms the cast of "Thank You", which is releasing Friday.

'No Entry' sequel not called 'Be Positive': Anil Kapoor

New Delhi, Jan 12 - Evergreen actor Anil Kapoor has dismissed rumours that the sequel to his 2005 laugh riot "No Entry" is named "Be Positive" after the oft-repeated phrase by his character in the outing.
"No. It's not called 'Be Positive'. It's called 'No Entry Mein Entry'," Anil told IANS.
The sequel too has producer Boney Kapoor and director Anees Bazmee.
Rumours are rife that the original male cast of Salman Khan, Anil and Fardeen Khan will be seen in double roles in the Part II. (IANS)

Anil Kapoor shaved his moustache and chest hair to play a teenage boy in "Lamhe". But when it comes to going bald for Rajkumar Santoshi's "Power", the seasoned actor is in two minds.
"That's one of the options, but I'm not quite sure about it yet," said Anil, who played the title role in the hit sci-fi movie "Mr. India", where Amrish Puri sported a bald mane as iconic villain Mogambo.
Anil will be seen in a pivotal role in Santoshi's underworld saga, which will also star Bollywood megasatar Amitabh Bachchan. (IANS)
