Washington, Feb 3 : Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway will be making the Academy Awards a family occasion, as she is taking her father as her date to the awards event.

"I''m taking my dad," People magazine quoted Anne, as saying at the 81st annual Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon in Beverly Hills.

The `Enchanted' actress is keen to bag a few more tickets to take her brother and mother along.

"Hopefully, if I can squeeze a few more tickets, I''m going to see if I can take my brother and my mom," Anne added.

Hathaway, who split from Raffaello Follieri last year, revealed that her family is the most important thing in her life and she wants them to be with her during her memorable moment.

London, Jan 25 : American actress Anne Hathaway has spoken about her role in the movie `Rachel Getting Married', and how she is ready to take on bigger ones.

For most, the name of the movie sounds like it is based on some dopey romantic story, but in reality it is a drama about a recovering drug addict visiting her family.

"When they came up with the title Rachel Getting Married, I thought well that''s great," Sky News quoted her as saying.

"I don''t know if this matters to anyone but my next movie is called Bride Wars, and it might get a little confusing. Or people might think that I''m a little desperate," she added.

New York, Jan 17 : Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway has revealed that she would love to baby sit US President-elect Barack Obama's daughters. In an interview to People magazine, "Rachel Getting Married" star expressed her desire to be the White House's "First Babysitter" to Obama girls Sasha, 7, and Malia, 10.

"I''d love to be First Babysitter, absolutely," New York Daily News quoted her as saying.

And that's not all. High School Musical star Corbin Bleu also said that he'd be happy to sing for the Obama daughters anytime.

"I''ll just go up and do performances for his kids all day and just keep them entertained," he said.
