Melbourne, Mar 21 : Late crocodile hunter Steve Irwin's daughter Bindi, 10, will be making her film debut by playing the lead in `Free Willy 4'.

She will be playing the role of Kirra Cooper in her first full-length movie, two-and-a-half years after her father passed away.

Even at such a young age, her acting skills have been described as formidable by the movie''s writer and director Will Geiger, and her co-star veteran actor Beau Bridges agrees with him.

Melbourne, Oct 11 : Bindi Irwin has been voted the most favourite Australian, in a poll for the Australian Kids' Choice Awards 2007.

The voting by Nickelodeon viewershad more than one million votes cast across 18 categories.

The daughter of the late ‘crocodile hunter’ Steve Irwin, who became star after her Kid Fitness DVD, was also voted the ‘Biggest Greenie’ for executing the conservation and animal welfare work with the help of her mum Terri Irwin.

The nine –year-old was presented with the awards at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, reports the Age.com.au.

At the event, the Movie Star gong went to Zac Efron of the High School Musical fame.
