Melbourne, Sept 26 : Pop star Britney Spears has landed in hot water for promoting gun violence in her latest video clip for song `Criminal'.

The latest video was partly filmed in East London and during the Bonnie and Clyde-themed shoot, Spears was photographed running out of a convenience store in Hackney waving a fake pistol.

Local politicians have now criticised the singer for glamourising gun violence and demanded an apology.

Washington, Sept 21 : Britney Spears has promised fans that her latest tour will be one of her most entertaining shows till date.

The ‘Criminal’ singer will kick off her ‘Femme Fatale’ tour in St Petersburg, Russia, on September 22 and finish it in Lisbon, Portugal on November 9.

Spears is delighted with her group of backing dancers and says people will also be entertained by her “six or seven costume changes.”

After a series of public meltdowns, Jamie became his daughter's conservator, making all her decisions in January 2008.

"Britney now recognizes that if her father hadn't stepped in and taken the action that he had, well.. Britney is now crediting Jamie for saving her life," Radar Online quoted a source as saying.

Los Angeles, Aug 26 : Britney Spears says if she weren't a pop star, she would rather have been a teacher.

"I'd probably be a teacher. I love kids, and even in what I do now one of my favourite parts of my day is getting to meet my fans before the show. Especially the little ones. They are always so cute," Spears told PopJustice. com.

"I'd specialise in reading and history," she said, adding that her favourite historical period is the 1920s.
