London, Oct 30 : A leading French society magazine has branded Carla Bruni the new Marie Antoinette of France.

Point de Vue, which specialises in covering the lives of aristocrats and European royalty, has attacked the 41-year-old wife of President Nicolas Sarkozy, insisting that she’s a daffy multi-millionaire socialite who does very little real work.

London, Oct 12 : French first lady Carla Bruni has been seeing a psychotherapist for the past eight years, it has emerged.

It is alleged that the former model-cum-singer, who is married to President Nicolas Sarkozy, confessed visiting a shrink in a yet to be released documentary about her life for French television.

The Daily Mail reported that France''s Plurielles. fr website had said it had seen clips of the programme.

"Bruni will bare her soul to the French people,” the Telegraph quoted the website as saying.

Experts revealed that the site, carlabrunisarkozy. org, which had been set up to promote Bruni''s foundation to help France''s "most vulnerable citizens", was not able to cope with the huge number of people visiting it.

"Because of too many visits, the site ... is provisionally inaccessible," Times Online quoted a message as saying.

London, September 20 : Bestselling author Justine Lévy has penned her memories about the time her husband left her for Carla Bruni, as part of her new book ''Bad Girl’.

The daughter of French philosopher and intellectual, Bernard-Henri Lévy, recalled “the really bad time of my life” when her husband of four years Raphaël Enthoven eloped with Bruni.

Lévy mentioned the haunting period, recalling how Enthoven convinced her to have an abortion before absconding with the singer and having a son by her.

“I was not at all happy,” Times Online quoted her as saying.

The Ministry of Agriculture will send the album, along with wine and cheese vouchers, across the world to promote international food and drink sales.
