Sri Lanka to take on Pakistan tomorrow

Sri Lanka will be looking to make a clean sweep in the series by 3-0 as they will take on Pakistan in the third and final test match of the test series at Colombo on Monday.
Sri Lanka has already been leading the series by 2-0 and the return of the experienced fast bowler Chaminda Vaas on their side will boost their morale to register win in the third test also.
Sri Lanka will also want to win this match for Vaas as he has announced to retire from the test cricket after this match although he will continue to play in the ODI matches and T20 cricket matches till 2011 World Cup.

On Sunday, the Sri Lankan left arm fast bowler Chaminda Vaas has announced to retire from the test cricket after the third and final test match against Pakistan, however, he will continue to play in the other formats of the cricket.
The 35 years old veteran said that he officially announces his retirement from the Test cricket after the third test against Pakistan of the ongoing test series but he would continue to play in the limited over format till 2011 World Cup.

The left arm fast bowler Chaminda Vaas has been included in the Sri Lankan squad for the third and final Test match against Pakistan, which will be played on Monday in Colombo.
Vass, who had played his last test in February, will replace the off-spinner Suraj Randiv in 16-memeber Sri Lankan squad.
Earlier this year, Sri Lanka's chief selector Ashantha de Mel has said that Vass had retired from the test cricket, while Vass denied any such report saying that he would continue to play till 2011 World Cup.

Sri Lanka's chief selector, Ashantha de Mel has confirmed that the left arm fast bowler Chaminda Vaas has decided to quit from the Test cricket, which will end his 15-year test carrier.
De Mel said that Vaas has announced that he will not play in the Test cricket anymore, but he will continue to play in the shorter formats of the cricket.
Sri Lankan skipper Kumar Sangakkara had earlier suggested Vaas to give up at least one form of the game and he said that there has been no doubt on the quality of Vaas and Vaas could still play important role in their team
