Washington, Mar 9: Irish actor Colin Farrell has sworn to stay away from women after his split from writer Emma Forrest last month, and to concentrate on his career.

Farrell, 32, has previously been linked to a number of A-list women, including Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Angelina Jolie.

However, he has finally planned a period of celibacy to give more attention to his work.

“I’ve had enough of women,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling his pals.

New Delhi, Feb 17: Known for his on and off relationships, Hollywood actor Colin Farrell is single again, for his lover Emma Forest has dumped him due to his lack of commitment.

Forest was said to be upset with him for not thanking her at the Golden Globes, when he won the best actor award, and not introducing her to his family, reports the China Daily.

"He would not introduce her to his family. She was also upset that he didn''t thank her at the Golden Globe Awards," a source told In Touch Weekly.

Washington, Jan 19 : A whole slew of stars, including Colin Farrell, Seth Rogen and director Darren Aronofsky, have prompted a censorship investigation of the 2009 Golden Globe Awards'' telecast for making offensive remarks.

The awards, which hit television screens on January 11, saw Farrell and Rogen making jokes about cocaine, reports Contactmusic.

On the other hand, Aronofsky was caught giving actor Mickey Rourke the middle finger.

According to The Los Angeles Times, 18 complaints were filed against the NBC telecast, which led the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) to launch an investigation.

New York, Nov 28 : Hollywood actor Colin Farrell does not always score according to an actress and US Army reservist, who claims to have rejected him.

San Durrani, who claims to be descended from Afghan royalty, revealed that Farrell shared a cab with her after a party, and came up to her house to say bye.

He wanted to spend time with her, but she did not accept his kind demand.

"He''s very nice but was just being a typical guy, looking for sex, so I told him I wasn''t interested," the New York Post quoted Durrani as saying.

Washington, Nov 12: Irish actor Colin Farrell has revealed that he was very freaked out by the idea of taking late Aussie actor Heath Ledger’s place in his unfinished movie.

Farrell, along with Johnny Depp and Jude Law, was in the headlines earlier this year when they stepped in to help finish Ledger’s final film ‘The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus’.

Even though the others had no qualms about doing the role, Farrell revealed that it was a very tough decision for him.

“It was a very difficult decision to make, when I first heard about it I totally freaked at the idea,” Fox News quoted Farrell as saying.

London, November 3 : Colin Farrell, who had earlier confessed that his alcoholic addiction almost killed him, has now revealed he has barely any memories of the last 10 years.

The Irish actor, who lay the blame on drink, drugs and excess partying for his riotous way of life, said that his life was now much better without them, reports the Sun.

“There are probably more moments in my life that I can''t remember than when I can,” British tabloid The Sun quoted him as saying.

“The last ten years are pretty sketchy. But as soon as I gave up certain things and put them to one side in my life then everything became a lot clearer,” the 32-year-old added.
