London, December 15 : A Brit woman had been asked by a housing association employee to take down her Christmas lights since they could be "offensive to the community".
Dorothy Glenn, 41, revealed that she adorned her South Shields residence, Tyne and Wear, every year with decorations, including lights, a giant tree and a 4ft Santa Claus, during the festive season.
She, however, was told to remove the decorations this time to avoid offending non-Christian neighbours.
