Washington, Oct 20 : American actress Drew Barrymore has revealed that she used to share her secrets with extraterrestrial character E. T. in-between takes on the set.

Barrymore, 34, had made her first big screen break at the age 6 in the blockbuster hit, and even though she knew he was a fake, she still preferred his company.

“I liked hanging out with him. And I would bring him lunch, and put a little handkerchief around his neck,” CBS News quoted her as remembering.

The actress-producer turned first time director with the film based on the novel and screenplay of Shauna Cross, a roller derby star in Los Angeles.

London, Sep 30 : Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore badly bruised her leg while filming for her directorial debut "Whip It", about a roller derby team.

Barrymore, who is also acting in the movie, was left black and blue when a training session with Detroit Derby Girls star Racer McChasher went wrong, reported contactmusic. com.

"We were wrestling and rolling around on the track, one of our skates and both our body weights were on my thigh. I had a bruise that was a foot long and a foot wide. My entire leg was covered," explained the 34-year-old actress.(IANS)

She lets Flossie rip up her new pairs of denim trousers to give them a fashionably distressed appearance.

“She lets Flossie chew on them and rip them up a bit and then she throws them in the washing machine. She thinks the look perfect! Not too calculated," said a source.
