A jury was also told that Elisabeth was forced to deliver her own babies in a rat-infested dungeon with nothing but a dog-eared book on pregnancy to help her, reports The Daily Star.

London, July 25 : Elisabeth Fritzl, the Austrian woman who was held as a captive by her father for 24 years, has chucked her own mother out of their new home, it has emerged.
The 42-year-old sex victim and her mum, Rosemarie, have been living with the six children Elisabeth was forced to have by rapist father Josef.
Elisabeth is reported to be angry that three of her cellar children who were raised "upstairs" with her father and Rosemarie still refer to her as "mother" rather than "grandmother", reports The Sun.
London, July 18: Elisabeth Fritzl has finally broken her silence and accused her incest dad Josef Fritzl for murdering her baby.
During four days of testimony, the 42-year-old incest victim told prosecutors that her evil dad was responsible for three-day-old Michael’s death.
The baby was among twins born in 1997 to Elisabeth, who had seven children by Fritzl during her 24 years in a dungeon at the family home in Amstetten, Austria.
He died and Fritzl tossed his body in a furnace.
Prosecutors must decide if the tot could have been saved if he had taken him to hospital.
Elisabeth’s testimony will spare her children the torment of having to testify against Fritzl.
