London, Sep 15 : Actor Hugh Jackman will return to Broadway with a show titled "Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway".
Jackman last performed on Broadway in 2009 when he starred in a non-musical role in Keith Huff's police thriller "A Steady Rain".
"I can't believe it's been seven years since I was singing and dancing on Broadway. There is nothing like performing on the Great White Way and I'm so excited to be coming 'home'." contactmusic. com quoted the 42-year-old as saying.

London, Aug 27 : The shooting of actor Hugh Jackman's "The Wolverine" in Japan has been pushed back due to the country's unpredictable weather.
Dailystar. co uk reports that the latest instalment in the "X-Men" franchise was set to start in Japan later this year, but the makers are struggling to commit to the location due to "weather-related considerations".
The film was to go on the floors in October but it will now be filmed in Canada next spring.(IANS)

According to authorities a helicopter used in the filming of the latest Hugh Jackman movie, “Real Steel”, snagged at a power line in the US state of Michigan. This incident ended up causing a short power outage in the area and resulted in the closing down of a roadway.
County Sheriff of Huron, Kelly J. Hanson, declared that no one was hurt and there are zero injuries that were reported after the incident took place this Sunday evening. The whole fiasco took place at the Huron County’s Sheridan Township, which is around 90 miles north of the state of Detroit.

Melbourne, Sep 29 : Aussie actor Hugh Jackman reportedly interrupted a Broadway performance of ‘A Steady Rain’ to address an audience member whose mobile phone kept ringing.
Jackman, 40, who was starring alongside actor Daniel Craig, 41, in the play, stopped in the middle of a tense dramatic scene, when the trilling of the phone started, and scolded the offender.

The actor duo is working together in a new Broadway play `A Steady Rain'.
But the `Australia' star has revealed that there was a time when he wasn't very fond of the current James Bond, and thus attached a swear word to his name.
He said that when Craig took a role Jackman coveted of poet Ted Hughes in the film `Sylvia Plath' opposite Gwyneth Paltrow, he reacted by calling him the special name.

Sydney, Sept 2 : Australian actor Hugh Jackman has topped the favourite drinking buddy of choice poll.
The poll that surveyed over 1200 people saw model Jennifer Hawkins at the second spot, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.
Australian PM Kevin Rudd bagged the third position; gaining more votes from women wine-drinkers than men.
After them were comedian Rove and actress Nicole Kidman.
"Partner" was ranked 6th, just ahead of TV veteran Bert Newton. (ANI)
