The family of late young singer Ishmeet Singh, has refused to accept the prevailing explanations for the death of their beloved son in Maldives last month. In order to find out the reasons for the ‘mysterious’ death of their son, Ishmeet’s father Gurpinder Singh, and uncle, Charan Kamal Singh paid a four day visit to Maldives. The family now firmly believe that there was something wrong and also claims to have come up with a strong evidence regarding the  reasons of their son death.

Ishmeet’s death is an unrepairable loss for his family members, friends, fans and all others.

Reality show contestant Himani Kapoor, who is still in a state of deep shock on learning about her friend Ishmeet’s death in the Maldives, said, “I can still hear him call out 'Oy Himaneeee' from across the room.”

“He was such a gem of a person. Why should he be taken away so rudely? I’m leaving for Ishmeet's hometown Ludhiana. I want to see him for the last time. I still can't believe he's gone,” she said.

As the news of his awful death spread, the popular winner of ‘Amul Star Voice of India 2007’ contest, Ishmeet Singh’s hometown Ludhiana was plunged in a pall of darkness and collective grief.

The 20-year-old potential singer had gone to Maldives to take part in a music concert. On Tuesday, he died due to drowning in a pool of the resort where he was staying.
