The family of late young singer Ishmeet Singh, has refused to accept the prevailing explanations for the death of their beloved son in Maldives last month. In order to find out the reasons for the ‘mysterious’ death of their son, Ishmeet’s father Gurpinder Singh, and uncle, Charan Kamal Singh paid a four day visit to Maldives. The family now firmly believe that there was something wrong and also claims to have come up with a strong evidence regarding the  reasons of their son death.

Speaking with the media people in Ludhiana, Ishmeet,s uncle Dr Charankamal Singh said, "We plan to hold a press meet in the coming few days where we will show videos of the hotel where Ishmeet had died."

Further disclosing the facts, Ishmeet’s uncle said, “The staff in the hotel told us that there is little probability of Ishmeet getting injured inside the pool. Ishmeet had an injury mark on the temporal side of his head. Moreover, the pool at the hotel was only 92-inch deep. There are many other things that prove that Ishmeet's death was unnatural."

The 19 year old singer who was the winner of the realty show “Voice of India” died in  mysterious circumstances in a swimming pool at the Chaaya Island Dhonveli beach resort in Maldives on July 29. The young singer from Ludhiana had gone there participate in an event.
