Los Angeles  - Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt has been granted a restraining order against a 62-year-old man who is accused of stalking her, E Online reported Tuesday.

David Nolte is accused of sending the actress 120 "threatening and harassing" correspondences, "including disturbing and violent letters that reference weapons he owns and fantasies he has wherein [Hewitt] is being impaled."

Some of the letters detailed "delusional and violent fantasies about having sexual relations with Ms Hewitt ... marring her, impaling her and envisioning her fiance with his head blown off."

Nolte even is alleged to have sold his Colorado home to move to Los Angeles, where he appeared at her mother's home last December.

David Nolte has been ordered by the court to stay away from Love Hewitt, her mother and her ex-fiance, Ross McCall for three years, reports Contactmusic.

The Ghost Whisperer star filed a petition against him in December (08) at Los Angeles Superior Court stating she feared for her physical safety after Nolte turned up at her mother''s house bearing letters and flowers.

Washington, Jan 07 : Hollywood actress Jennifer Love Hewitt is "having a tough time" in the wake of her breakup with fiancé Ross McCall, according to reports.

The revelation was made by a source on the set of the stunner's hit show `The Ghost Whisperer'.

"She is usually very bubbly, but she is more quiet and seems sad," People magazine quoted a source, as saying.

"She usually hangs out with the crew between takes, but [Tuesday] she is only hanging out with her bodyguard," the source added.

It has also been reported that unlike her trademark professional attitude, Hewitt has skipped work.

London, Jan 06 : Hollywood actress Jennifer Love Hewitt has split from fiancé Ross McCall, according to reports.

Ghost Whisperer star Hewitt, 29, and Scottish actor McCall, 32, got engaged in November 2007 after dating for two years.

But the pair is now set to go their separate ways, according to People.

The `Trojan War' actress met McCall, while shooting `Ghost Whisperer'.

According to People, the duo split over the holidays.

"They broke up over the holidays and ended their engagement," The Sun quoted a source, as saying.

Both Hewitt and McCall are reportedly disappointed with the split.
