British comedian Russell Brand and the U. K broadcaster Jonathan Ross are reportedly going to rock on television together again as they are set to reunite for the first time after the controversy that surrounded the calls to actor Andrew Sachs had nearly brought them to the end of the road as far as their careers were concerned.

London, Sep 10 : American singer Barbra Streisand is to be interviewed by Brit film critic Jonathan Ross for an episode of his BBC One chat show.
An entire show, which has been branded as ‘Friday Night With Streisand and Ross’, will be dedicated to 67-year-old Streisand, reports the BBC.
The singer/actress will be discussing her career and also perform some of her classic hits and material from her new album, ‘Love Is The Answer’, on the programme which will be broadcast on October 2.

London, May 7 : Despite having fewer followers, TV host Jonathan Ross has pipped US President Barack Obama and Downing Street to become the most influential `Twitterer' in the world, says a new research.
Ross beat celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and comedian Stephen Fry and US actor Ashton Kutcher to nab the first position.
Brand agency JCPR produced the `Twitter index', which measured influence, instead of popularity, the Telegraph reported.

London, January 27 : Hundreds of appalled surfers want to see Jonathan Ross sacked over his sick joke about sex with an 80-year-old woman on his Radio 2 comeback show.
The BBC radio presenter had landed himself in trouble yet again after he returned to work from his three-month suspension.
Ross was suspended for his part in a radio-prank call to 78-year-old Andrew Sachs, which saw him passing lewd comments while RJ Russell Brand spoke of his prior sexual relationship with the actor's granddaughter.

London, Jan 26 : Jonathan Ross has landed himself in trouble yet again after making sick jokes about sex with an 80-year-old woman on his Radio 2 comeback show.
The broadcaster has returned to work this week after serving a three-month suspension from the BBC for his part in the Sachsgate scandal, which saw him leaving a series of lewd messages on the voicemail of Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs, reports the Mirror.

London, Jan 23 : Jonathan Ross has retuned to the BBC with words "So, where were we..?" and a humble apology over his involvement in the `Sachsgate' row.
Ross made the long-awaited comeback following a three-month suspension, reports the Mirror.
He was suspended along with comedian Russell Brand for messages they left on the answerphone of 78-year-old Andrew Sachs, famed for playing bumbling Spanish waiter Manuel in the hit 1970s television comedy series Fawlty Towers.
Ross said he was sorry for his part in the scandal, adding: "I do apologise for any hurt or distress."

The Brit presenter had been suspended for 12 weeks without pay by the BBC following a series of phone messages left by Brand and him for 78-year-old Andrew Sachs.
The infamous October scandal, in which Ross had passed lewd comments while Brand described his prior sexual relationship with Sach's grandaughter, had led to a record number of complaints which led to Brand's resignation and Ross' temporary suspension.

London, Nov 22 : English radio and television presenter Jonathan Ross would not be doled out any further punishment for the Andrew Sachs obscene phone calls scandal, the BBC Trust ruled today.
Both Ross and fellow presenter Russell Brand had caused a controversy after they left lewd messages on the answering machine of the Fawlty Towers actor for a Radio 2 broadcast last month.

The corporation’s investigation into the Sachs scandal is not over, Sir Michael Lyons revealed, and the 6million pounds-a-year star could still face further action.
BBC Trust head had been criticised during a grilling by MPs for not firing Ross after he made lewd phone calls to Fawlty Towers legend Andrew Sachs, 78.
“There is nothing that is ruled out from the final deliberations of the BBC Trust,” the Daily Star quoted Sir Michael as telling the Culture, Media and Sport Committee.

London, Oct 27 : Comedian Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross have deeply hurt Andrew Sachs by their obscene comments on the latter’s radio 2 show, where Andrew was set to take part.
While the two were making a phone call to Andrew, Russell announced to the listeners: “In a minute we’re going to be talking to Andrew Sachs. The elephant in the room is, what Andrew doesn’t know is, I’ve slept with his granddaughter.”
Brand continued his obscenity while referring to Andrew’s granddaughter Georgina Baillie, a model by profession, when Andrew failed to pick up the phone.
