Kiefer Sutherland says prison stint may help him kick the buttLondon, Jan 21 : Canadian actor Kiefer Sutherland was thrilled when, on his recent Hollywood Walk of Fame star unveiling, the entire cast and crew of his hit show 24 honoured him by being there.

Sutherland had no idea that they would show up, and only later learnt that the producers had agreed to shut down shooting on the drama for half a day, so that cameramen, sound guys, directors and co-stars could join him.

The Illinois senator will become United States’ first black president when he takes office in January next year.

The action drama featured a black President in its first five seasons, with actor Dennis Haysbert saying prior to Obama''s election victory: "If anything, my portrayal of David Palmer I think may have helped open the eyes of the American people."

The 41-year-old, best known for his lead role of Jack Bauer on the television series ‘24’, revealed that some good did come out his jail term – he can now trust himself to overcome unhealthy habits.
