India's Mahesh Bhupathi and his Bahamian partner Mark Knowles ousted the seventh seeded Max Mirnyi and Andy Ram to lift their fourth ATP title. The Indo-Bahamian pair defeated their opponents in straight sets 6-4, 6-3 in the finals of Montreal Masters Cup with prize money of $3 million.

Bhupathi-Knowles pair outsmarted their opponents with their solid serves in 1 hour and 12 minutes. This was fifth Canadian title for Bhupathi as he had won this title with his compatriot Leander Paes in 1997 and 2004, with Mirnyi in 2003 and with Vizner in 2007.

India’s Mahesh Bhupathi and his partner Mark Knowles of Bahamas have breezed in to the semifinals of ATP Montreal Masters after crushing Polish pair of Mariusz Frystenberg and Marcin Matkowski in straight sets at Montreal, Canada on Saturday.

The third seeded pair of Bhupathi-Knowles outclassed their sixth seeded Polish opponents 6-3 6-4 in the quarterfinal of the ATP tournament with prize money of USD 3,000,000.  
 

The fourth seeded pair of India's Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles of Bahamas has crashed out of the men’s double event of the Wimbledon championship as they lost their match against South African Wesley Moodie and Dick Norman of Belgium in the quarterfinals in London on Wednesday.

Bhupathi-Knowles duo went down in the five setter match against the ninth seeded duo of Moodie-Norman by 6-7(9), 6-4, 6-7 (7), 7-5, 4-6, which lasted for almost three and a half hours.

The fourth seeded pair of India's Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles of Bahamas stormed into the quarterfinals of the men’s double event of the Wimbledon championship after defeating India’s Prakash Amritraj and Pakistan's Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi duo on in London on Monday.

Bhupathi-Knowles duo has defeated the unseeded pair of Prakash and Qureshi by 6-4, 5-7, 7-6 (3), 6-0 in the third round of the men’s double event of the Wimbledon championship.

In a nerve-wracking battle, the Indo-Bahamian pair of Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles bounced back from a set down to beat Indian Somdev Devvarman and South African Kevin Anderson and move into the second round of Wimbledon men's doubles event here.

The fourth seeds duo had to stretch them to the limit to edge past Devvarman-Anderson 6-7 (4), 6-4, 7-5, 7-5 in the opening round of the match.

In their very first appearance in the Grand Slam, the young Somdev and Anderson left their rivals in a tough meet that lasted for more than four-hours.

Second seeded Mahesh Bhuapthi and Mark Knowles duo has crashed out of the Aegon International with prize money of euro 450,000 in Eastbourne on Wednesday.

Bhupati-Knowles duo lost their quarterfinal match against unseeded American-Slovakian pair by 6-7 (4), 4-6 and the match lasted for one hour and 17 minutes.

Paes and his Czech partner Doulphy were also defeated by Polish pair of Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski 1-6, 6-7 (3) on Tuesday.

The second seeded Mahesh Bhupathi and his Bahamian partner Mark Knowles handed a straight-set mauling to UAE’s Hamoud Abbas and Mahmoud-Naden Al Baloushi.

With this win, the Indo-Bahamian pair has now advanced into the quarter-finals of the Dubai Tennis Championship.

The Bhupathi & Knowles pair were at ease throughout the match and hardly had any trouble to overpower their rivals 6-3, 6-1 in the $2,233,500 event. This was the 50th win for this Indo-Bahamian pair.

It was a proud moment for Mahesh Bhupathi and his Bahamian partner Mark Knowles, when they had a straight-set win over Swede-Zimbabwean pair of Jonas Bjorkman and Kevin Ullyett in Madrid, and thus made in the finals of ATP Madrid Masters.

It took little more than an hour for the fourth seeded Indo-Bahamian pair to beat the fifth seeded Swede-Zimbabwean pair by 6-2 6-4 to make it into the finals.

Now Bhupahti and Knowles will compted with seventh seeds Marcin Matkoswki and Mariusz Fyrstenberg of Poland.

The Indian-Bahamian duo of Mahesh and Mark Knowles entered into the quarter finals of Madrid Masters tennis Tournament after Rafael Nadal and Carlos Moya paved their way through by withdrawing from the second round match.

Bhupathi and Knowles were expected to encounter Nadal and Moya on Wednesday afternoon but could not as Nadal was reported to be suffering from intense pain in the lower back. The former duo however are yet to play a match in the tournament as they were given a bye in the first round.
