Michael Bay on why he doesn't want to direct Marvel sequel

London [UK], Dec. 6 : During the promotional campaign for his upcoming ' Transformers: The Last Knight', director Michael Bay brought back quotes from his concerns over 'Marvel Studios' and the 'Marvel Cinematic Universe.'

The 51-year-old director, who has not dipped his toe in the superhero genre yet, revealed why he has not tried his hand at one yet, reports collider.com.

"I don't ever wanna take someone like a third of something or second of something. I gotta do my own thing," he said.

"...you talk to Ridley Scott, one our favorite things to do is to create the world. Steven Spielberg, create the world. That is what it's about. If I were to do something I would have to redo it my way," he added.

Bay, Fox to work together again

Los Angeles, Feb 23 : Director Michael Bay and Megan Fox will soon be seen in a new project together.

The director-actress duo, who had a fallout after Fox was not asked to return for the third instalment of the popular movie franchise "Transformers", might be a part of another project, reports dailystar. co. uk.

"TMNT ("Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"): We are bringing Megan Fox back into the family," Bay wrote on his official website.

Fox is expected to play the role of April O'Neil, the human friend of the Ninja Turtles, in the movie.(IANS)

Michael Bay sued for Pistol whipping
