New Delhi, June 29 : TV actresses Mona Singh and Supriya Pilgaonkar will be seen shaking a leg on bride-to-be Ratan Rajput's mehendi ceremony in Imagine TV's "Ratan Ka Rishta".
They would be joined by Neha Marda, Sneha Wagh and Supriya Kumari and the artists will be seen performing on dance numbers like "Rola Pe Gaya", "Mehendi Rang Layee" and "Dhoom Tana".
While Mona will perform on folk numbers like "Resham Ka Rumaal" and "Holia", Supriya Pilgaonkar will set the dance floor on fire with her performance on the song "Sajanji Ghar Aaye".
New Delhi, March 2 : She is one of the most sought after anchors at award functions now, but actress Mona Singh admits nothing can surpass the success of her debut show "Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin" - which is why she consciously stays away from fiction content on television.
"It has been a conscious decision to avoid taking up a daily soap. I think nothing can be bigger and better than my role in 'Jassi...' in terms of fiction content. Besides, people will still relate to me as Jassi, which will not be in the interest of any new character that I play in a TV show," said Mona who will turn 31 this year.
The money-spinning reality shows are difficult to resist. The judge's chair is no longer booked to celebs from the Hindi film industry or TV. This opportunity is now being passed on to ad film producers as well.
According to rumor mill, vibrant ad film producer Prahlad Kakkar is ready to make his reality show debut. It seems that, the shoot for this show is said to be taking place at Filmcity, Mumbai.
Multi-talented Mona Singh is said to be Prahlad's fellow judge whereas this show is being produced by well-known VJ Raghu Ram.
Jassi is a past now as Mona Singh is all geared up for her silver screen debut with the film “Three Idiots”. She will be seen with one of the ace actor of the Film Industry, Aamir Khan and is very excited about the project too.
“My last schedule of the film will complete in July. We had lots of fun while making of Three Idiots and is eagerly waiting for it to release,” says Mona.
Describing her experience while working with Aamir Khan, she quips, “It was really nice. Initially I had my qualms about him but then the director of the film told me to meet Aamir once before starting the shoot.”

A local court in Chandigarh on Thursday has issued summons to cricketer Harbhajan Singh, TV actress Mona Singh and the entertainment channel, ‘Colors’ for allegedly hurting religious sentiments with their Ravana-Sita dance act in a reality show last year.
In his petition filed to the court, local advocate Arvind Thakur said, “After hearing the arguments on the petition, the magistrate issued summons of Harbhajan, Mona and authorities of channel, on which the program was aired, for April 27.”
