Clarke, Haddin, Ferguson and Bracken will miss India series

Melbourne, Oct 9 Australian vice-captain Michael Clarke, Brad Haddin, Callum Ferguson and Nathan Bracken have been omitted, due to injuries, from the 15-member squad for the seven-match One-day series against India.
Announcing the team here Friday, national selection panel chairman Andrew Hilditch said that Clarke is continuing his rehabilitation from back soreness while wicket-keeper Brad Haddin continues his recovery after a finger surgery. Callum Ferguson and Nathan Bracken are also suffering from knee injuries.

The first semifinal could well be the eighth one-dayer between Australia and England. They barely finished a seven-match ODI series before they got on the plane for the Champions Trophy. So, when they square up again at the Centurion there won’t be any surprises.
Both know the strengths and weaknesses of each other and will pick their eleven accordingly. Australia have lost Michael Clarke and Nathan Bracken to injury and have not looked as solid as they usually do.

Sydney, Feb. 15 : Australian one-day fast bowler Nathan Bracken has said that the experience of watching common Australians battling the bush fires in the southern part of the country will stay with him forever.
"As a professional cricketer your career is defined by what you do on the field: the hundreds you score, the wickets you claim or the great catches you take. But it is often the things we experience away from the game that bring emotion and meaning to our lives," Bracken writes in article for the Sydney Morning Herald.

Melbourne, Feb. 3 (ANI): Fast bowler Nathan Bracken has said that Australia will use the Brad Haddin-Daniel Vettori ''''cheating'''' spat as motivation during the next one-day international to be played at the MCG on Friday.
"If we want to win this series we''ve got to play good cricket and if it means we''ve got to use that as a motivational thing then we have to," the Courier Mail quoted Bracken, as saying.
He maintained that the issue would help the team rather than disrupt it.

Adelaide, Jan. 27 : Australia's cricket selectors have recalled batsman Michael Clarke and fast bowler Nathan Bracken for the final match against South Africa to be played at the WACA in Perth.
A Fox Sports report said that Australia will go all out to salvage some of its pride from an already lost the series in Perth.
Another defeat would see the Proteas move to top spot in the rankings for the first time since February 2007 after the two sides were locked together atop the one-day tree in March and April last year.

Melbourne, Jan 24 : Australia have suffered a serious blow before the crucial one-day clash against South Africa on Monday with main pacer Nathan Bracken being ruled out due to a calf strain.
Bracken's form has been one of the few highlights for the home side with the tourists leading the five-match series 2-1 ahead of game four at Adelaide Oval.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Bracken, who was ranked the world''s No. 1 one-day bowler, has secretly been working on his spinners in the nets and is hoping to unleash them soon in a game.
"I''ve been practising them a fair bit. I''ve been bowling them at training but the hardest thing has been trying to get the chance to bowl them in a game," he told the Sun Herald.
During the last Sheffield Shield game against Tasmania, where Bracken took a match total of eight wickets, he asked Blues skipper Dominic Thornely for the chance to bowl spin in the second innings.
