New Delhi, Oct 25 : Former Miss India Neha Dhupia, who flashed a million dollar smile while sashaying down the ramp Sunday at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) for designer Kavita Bhartia, wonders why models don't flash a smile during catwalk.

"I have always wondered why models always walk the ramp with a straight face. Why don't they ever smile? Even during my modelling days, I used to wonder about it," Neha said after the show.

After winning the Miss India Pageant Neha Dhupia is all set to top the beauty list once more. She has been chosen as the beauty ambassador for India by American pop singer, actress and fashion entrepreneur Jessica Simpson for her TV show Price Of Beauty.

Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder and this is exactly what Jessica and her crew would go around the world to find out, how different people perceive beauty.

Jessica has planned for a special segment on Bollywood for which they have selected Neha as their beauty ambassador.

New Delhi, Oct 21 : Hollywood actress singer Jessica Simpson has chosen Bollywood star Neha Dhupia as the Indian Beauty ambassador for her TV show "Price Of Beauty".

She zeroed in on Neha after spotting her on American mini series "Bollywood Hero", said a press release. Neha will now feature on a special segment on Bollywood on the show.

The shooting for the segment is scheduled to start next week in Mumbai.

Neha Dhupia couldn't be happier with her newfound Hollywood glory as Bollywood Hero, an American TV series in which the actress plays a B-town star, has received rave reviews in the US, even The Incredible Hulk actor, Ed Norton, was impressed with her acting skills.

It's another thing, however, that Dhupia took a while to recognise Norton. The actress reveals, "After the premiere of the show, when the lights came on, I saw Ed Norton sitting with me and I screamed! He said 'hello' and complimented me, and I screamed again. He said, 'I'm not that scary that you scream everytime I ask you anything'. That was my Ed Norton moment."

Neha Dhupia may belong at an army family but still, it looks like she has to come to terms with the realities of war and the gruesome fate of the prisoners.

The gorgeous ex Miss India has no appetite for reality, as the lissome lass known for portraying toughie characters on screen fainted at the sight of a Pow (Prisoner of War) Camp in Vietnam. A friend of the actress said, "Neha travelled to Vietnam recently. It was a holiday trip. Neha had heard a lot about the POW Camp in Vietnam and was curious to know about it."

Neha Dhupia is a sports lover. In fact she is a active sports person herself. A friend said, "Neha used to actively participate in all the sports activities during her school and college days. She is a good swimmer. She also good at playing tennis and cricket."

To enhance her sports skills Neha has taken up Squash. "Squash is the latest sport that has cuaght Neha's interest. She is being trained by a coach. Neha's enjoying playing the game,"the friend said. -Sampurn Media

Neha Dhupia wanted to woo B-Town with her skin show in the beginning. She had famously said: “Only sex and SRK sells”.

Then when she couldn’t pull off that stunt as all her cheap movies like ‘Julie’ and ‘Sheesha’ flopped one after the other, she tried to turn good girl and do different movies like ‘Mithya’ etc.

She still ain’t a big star here but the buzz now is that she’s somehow managed to impress the American crew she worked with.

Boy, that sure is interesting. Never knew that Neha’s that professional. Looks more like a show to us.

Q. Would your man belong to Bollywood? A. Definitely not. He wouldn’t be from the (film) industry.

Q. Why? A. Very simple. I don’t have a liking for industry men much. Secondly, I would not like to discuss films after coming back home from work.

Q. Would he be a metrosexual man? A. No way! I detest metrosexual men right from my childhood.

Q. Reason? A. Because, I just cannot stand men who pedicure and manicure. I remember telling my father why do these men not leave pedicure and manicure to women.

Bollywood babe Neha Dhupia will be seen in an under development American TV series titled ‘Bollywood Hero’, which is a three part comedy mini series.

The tag line of the comedy by Independent Film Channel (IFC) is ‘Chris Kattan goes to India to become a Bollywood star’.

Neha will play the role of a Bollywood actress Alima Lakhani opposite American actor comedian Chris Kattan known best for Saturday Night Live.

The actress said, “It revolves around the main protagonist Chris Kattan who wants to become a Bollywood hero and I play a Bollywood actress, opposite him.”
