Two German riders suspended after positive doping tests

OlafPollackBerlin - Germany's 2008 world championship silver medallist Olaf Pollack and Berlin rider Markus Cronjaeger have been suspended after positive doping tests, the German cycling federation BDR said on Thursday.

Pollack, who was 36 on Sunday, failed a training control carried out by the national anti-doping authority NADA on July 6. The former Telekom rider has called for a 'b' sample to be tested.

Cronjaeger was tested positive at the "Rund um den Odenwald" race on July 11. He has decided against a 'b' sample test.
