Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has topped Forbes magazine's list of the 'World's Most Powerful Celebrities' during 2010.

The list, which is based on earnings and media exposure, witnessed Winfrey beating Angelina Jolie off the top spot of Forbes's annual Celebrity 100 list and down right till spot number 18.

Beyonce Knowles remains on the second place, while James Cameron stands on the third position for his Avatar feat. Lady Gaga was the highest new entry at four - thanks to a global tour and endorsement deals.

Television Queen Oprah Winfrey has bought shares in New York-based clothing and accessories retailer J Crew. She has informed that she was very much inspired by US first lady Michelle Obama, who has earlier purchased a unit from the store. J crew has become the most favorite outfit of Oprah too. She has also said that the outfit of Mrs. Obama was quite impressive.

The US first lady's outfit was consisted of a cardigan, sweater and skirt from American store.

Washington, November 26 : US President Barack Obama is set to be quizzed this Christmas by US talk show host Oprah Winfrey.

According to the Live Feed, the leader will be interviewed for a holiday special on ABC called "Christmas at the White House: An Oprah Primetime Special."

The President’s wife Michelle Obama will also be present on the show, reports CBS News.

The special will also provide viewers the opportunity to peek inside White House.

The special show is dated to be aired on Sunday, December 13th.

Washington, Nov 21 : Oprah Winfrey’s decision to end her talk show in 2011 has attracted mixed feelings from the people of Chicago, where the programme is shot.

While some people believe it can affect local tourism and businesses in Chicago, others seem unconcerned about her departure from the city.

The reason, according to Chicago Tribune media critic Phil Rosenthal, is that though Winfrey first came to Chicago in 1984 as the host of "AM Chicago," she never fully became a true Chicagoan like former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka and actor Vince Vaughn.

London, Nov 11 : Talk show host Oprah Winfrey’s production company Harpo is said to have reached an amicable settlement with a US insurance firm over rights to the phrase “aha moment”.

Harpo had earlier this year asked Mutual of Omaha to stop using the phrase while promoting its products, as it created an association with Winfrey, reports the BBC.

Winfrey, 55, often uses the slogan on her programme to describe “flashes of understanding”.
