Burrell, Diana’s former servant, became infamous after he shamelessly cashed in on his association with her.

Now, industry insiders are claiming that the production will focus on Burrell’s turbulent life since the Princess’s death, including the court case when he was wrongly accused of stealing her possessions; his efforts to make money from his past royal association; and his farcical appearance at Diana’s inquest.

London, Mar 12: Disgraced royal butler Paul Burrell is desperate to make up with Princes William and Harry, it has emerged.

The 50-year-old, who was widely criticized for making money using late Princess Diana's name, was tellingly excluded from her memorial service in 2007 by the Princes, who had been close to him in their childhood.

Now the ex-servant, is said to be anxious to "build bridges" with William and Harry after more than a decade of being out of contact.

"Paul adored William and Harry when they were young and they obviously knew each other well," The Daily Express quoted a pal, as saying.

Diana’s ex-butler Paul Burrell ‘makes secret trip to the UK’

Princess Diana and Paul BurrellLondon, Oct 3: Princess Diana’s ex butler Paul Burrell has made a secret trip back to Britain, it has emerged.

Burrell, who these days resides in Florida, has not been in Britain since his embarrassing appearance at his late employer’s inquest at the beginning of the year.

However, now the 50-year-old has been spotted back in the Cheshire village of Farndon, home of his wife Maria and the location of his flower and gift shop.

London, July 2 : Former royal butler Paul Burrell may be making some more money off Princess Diana’s memory with a movie focusing on his time working for her.

According to reports, film-makers in the US are eager to make a movie about the butler’s life with the late Princess of Wales.

“It’s felt Burrell’s story is a fascinating one as he was the guy with the Princess day-to-day,” the Daily Express quoted a source, as saying.

“The story would focus on the years when he was working for the Princess and how they developed such a close understanding.” 

Movie bosses are also hoping that Burrell will come on board as an adviser for the project.
