Bridal march composed for Crown Princess Victoria's wedding

Stockholm - Swedish Crown Princess Victoria's former music teacher has composed the processional music for her wedding next year, reports said Wednesday.
Ingemar Thorell, who gave private piano lessons to Victoria and her sister, Princess Madeleine, and taught their brother, Prince Carl Philip to play the guitar, said his composition is for the organ and violin.
"It is quite grand," Thorell told the Dalarnas Tidning newspaper.
Thorell said he planned to title the piece, The Crown Princess's Bridal March.

London, March 29 : Swedish Crown Princess Victoria will tie the knot with her former personal trainer this year, it has been announced.
The heiress apparent to the throne will marry Daniel Westling, belonging to a lower-middle class background, on June 19 at the Stockholm Cathedral.
The event will be marked with a three-day celebration that will see performances by renowned celebrities.
The cream of the country’s glitterati along with royalty from across Europe is expected to make the guest list.

Stockholm - Swedish Crown Princess Victoria is set to marry on June 19, 2010, the palace said Monday, noting that the date had a "long tradition" in the ruling Bernadotte family.
Victoria, 31, and her boyfriend Daniel Westling, 35, last month announced their engagement ending years of speculation over the couple that has been been dating since
2002.
Her parents, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, also married on June 19 in 1976.

Stockholm - A week after the announcement of Swedish Crown Princess Victoria's engagement and pending wedding, debate continued Thursday on who should foot the bill for the 2010 event.
In addition to traditional media like newspapers and letters to the editors, talkshows and radio, the social networking site Facebook has attracted people eager to debate the issue.
Stockholm tabloid Expressen reported Thursday that some 30,000 people have signed on to Facebook groups to protest that the taxpayers should pay more to the royal court.
Swedish crown princess still hoping for engagement announcement

Royalists and gossip magazine editors alike have been waiting for the day, noting that the princess has been dating Daniel Westling for some six years.
Westling, who operates several fitness centres, turns 35 on Tuesday.
Victoria, 31, told the Stockhom tabloid Expressen she "understood" the interest, adding that she believed "it was good that matters are discussed. But I hope people will trust my judgement concerning the day."
