Rait village (Himachal Pradesh), Jan 4 : Tibetan Prime Minister in exile Samdhong Rinpoche attended a peace ceremony in Rait village of Himachal Pradesh.
The daylong seminar named ''''Education for Peace'', organised by the local Dronacharaya College witnessed the participation of trainee teachers from various parts of the country.
Rinpoche, who was the chief guest, hailed the theme of the seminar.

Dharamshala, Nov. 27 : Tibetan Prime Minister-in-exile Samdhong Rinpoche on Friday blamed China of emerging as a training ground for the militants.
Addressing a two-day workshop of the 115th session of Indian Federation of Working Journalists in Dharamsala, Rinpoche said, many Maoists go to China, get training, money and arms from there and spread terror on Indian soil.
Tibetan PM calls for regional autonomy in Tibet

New Delhi/ Satovari,(Himachal Pradesh) May 23 : Tibet’s Prime Minister in-exile Samdhong Rinpoche has called for implementation of constitutional provisions to facilitate the introduction of regional autonomy in Tibet.
Addressing a Tibetan gathering in New Delhi today, Rinpoche said that Tibet's stand on China is clear and it does not seek a separate state but a middle path approach that would provide meaningful autonomy to their homeland.
"Our expectations are very clear. They should implement Constitutional provisions of national regional autonomy for all minorities, including the Tibetans," he said.
Exiled Tibetan PM urges exiles to not disrupt Olympic relay

New Delhi, Apr 10: Exiled Tibetan Prime Minister Samdhong Rinpoche has urged exiled Tibetans not to disrupt the Olympic torch relay.
Rinpoche wished protesters would not do anything to embarrass the Indian government. He believed that there were some Tibetan groups who did not endorse the Dalai Lama's support for the Olympics.
He said that his government did not support the disruption of the Olympic torch relay around the world.
Tibetan premier-in-exile demands release of all Lhasa detainees

Samdhong Rinpoche, Tibet's Prime Minister-in-exile has demanded the release of all Tibetan detainees and medical aid for all the injured.
"Release all innocent detainees and prisoners who have recently been arrested or imprisoned. Give medical aid to all those injured people who are unable to reach the PRC controlled hospital," said Rinpoche in Dharamsala.
The Dalai Lama has demanded that there should be an investigation into whether China is committing cultural genocide in Tibet.
