Australia ropes in Saqlain to hone Hauritz’s spinning skills ahead of Ashes deciderLondon, Aug. 18 : Australia has roped in former Pakistan off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq to work with Nathan Hauritz ahead of the fifth and final Ashes Test at the Oval.

Saqlain was seen giving some important tips and advice on slow bowling in local conditions to Hauritz on Monday, The News reports.

Colombo, Aug.16: New Zealand off-spinner Jeetan Patel is excited about the training sessions he is having with former Pakistan off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq, who has been appointed as part-time bowling advisor of the Kiwi team.
Patel, who is preparing hard to earn a place in the team touring Sri Lanka, said Mushtaq’s vast experience at the  international level has worked wonders for him.

“The day the Pakistan cricket authorities say ‘Saqlain we need you’, I am available for them. We had the best bowling attack when I played and it is unfortunate that our own people are not exploiting our experience and talent,” The News quoted Saqlain, as saying.
