London, Oct 24 : Sarah Ferguson a. k. a Fergie is set to pocket millions from a deal to turn her children''s books into a cartoon series.

The Duchess of York, feared to be on the brink of bankruptcy, will pick up a big advance after selling the TV and merchandising rights to her best-selling kids'' books Tea For Ruby and Little Red.

The book rights have been snapped up by Handmade - the film company set up by the late former Beatle George Harrison.

London, October 14 : Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson has reportedly chopped plans for a posh 50th birthday bash over bankruptcy fears.

The debt-ridden former member of the British Royal Family, who will hit her half-century on October 15, will instead allegedly celebrate the occasion with just a dozen close friends and family at a London restaurant.

"Everyone is sad the party won''t go ahead but reality has hit home. Her debts are out of control and the dam is set to burst," the Sun quoted a close pal as saying.

The source added: "It feels like bankruptcy is a case of ''when'' rather than ''if''.

London, Sep 3 : Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson is said to have been taken to court by three firms over 21,539 pounds in unpaid bills.

According to reports, firm bosses were so fed up chasing after 49-year-old Ferguson over debts that they each were forced to start proceedings.

Fergie, who was seen on TV last year giving financial advice to a poverty-stricken family, is believed to have come up with the money only after the papers were filed.

Princess Eugenie’s mother was said to have been travelling with her tycoon friend Geir Frantzen on a private jet.

The 49-year-old was allegedly “trembling in shock” when the panel of the Piper PA-42 Cheyenne plane swung free, forcing the aircraft to head back to the Biggin Hill airport, Kent.

The former member of the British Royal Family purportedly wanted to bring back some "community spirit" into the city.
