Mumbai, June 4 : After the success of "Dabangg", actress Sonakshi Sinha has again been paired opposite Salman Khan in "Kick", but this time she will be getting much more screen space.

"'Kick' is a remake of a south Indian film. The girl has a lot more to do. It's a damn good role. I'm very kicked about it. Yeah, there's definitely much more scope for me in 'Kick' than 'Dabangg'. And I am going to make the best of it," says the confident newcomer.

Mumbai, May 12 : Reports about Sonakshi Sinha's serial scuffles with Katrina Kaif and other actresses have upset her mother Punam, who is far from amused by these tales of her daughter's apparent animosity towards the fair sex."We don't know where these stories are coming from. But this is not our daughter," said Poonam.

Mumbai, March 13 : Sonakshi Sinha is sure being pampered. When the actress who is shooting for Shirish Kunder's "Joker" got wistful at not having done any modern dance so far, choreographer Farah Khan, who was in Chandigarh to shoot a desi number, introduced a hip-hop section in it.

Akshay Kumar's song-and-dance with Sonakshi, meant to be a hard core desi number, was shot in the lush mustard fields of Chandigarh last week.

In the middle of the song, a hip-hop section was introduced, much to Sonakshi's delight as it was her first attempt at something western.

Sonakshi Sinha will be seen playing the role of Kamal Haasan's wife in his upcoming flick.

Miss Sinha, who has big films in her kitty, reportedly was puzzled about taking on a movie opposite Haasan, but has now said 'yes ' to the offer.

Shatrugan Sinha's loving daughter, who is currently shooting for Shirish Kunder's forthcoming flick 'Joker' in Chandigarh, will shoot for Kamal's flick after this schedule in mid-March.

One film old Sonakshi Sinha is following up a painstaking exercise schedule to lose weight for her roles in forthcoming films including Joker and Race 2.

Bollywood's latest sensation, who had been quite chubby, decreased her weight for her first flick Dabangg.

The Hindi remake was also supposed to be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. For the time being Salman is not showing much interest in this film as he is busy with Bigg Boss 4, Kick and Bodyguard. A source added that both Bodyguard and Kick are two big movies and Salman cannot let his fans down.

Just a day before the release of his first film with Sonakshi Sinha, Salman Khan has signed another film with the much talked-about debutante.

On Thursday afternoon, producer Sajid Nadiadwala drove down to the Sinhas’ bungalow to sign Sonakshi opposite Salman in the Hindi remake of the Tamil blockbuster Kick, which Shirish Kunder will be directing for Nadiadwala. Salman was not only keen to sign Kunder as director, he also strongly recommended Sonakshi for the female lead, which Ileana had performed in the Telugu original.

'Dabangg' is all set to take a bumper opening but Sonakshi Sinha, the leading lady who makes her debut with the film, is keeping her excitement in check. New Delhi, Sep 2 : Movie buffs will get to see fresh pairs like Salman Khan-Sonakshi Sinha and Aishwarya Rai-Rajnikant in the films lined up to hit the big screen this month.

The first hitherto unseen pairing will be Karan Johar's home production "We Are Family", releasing Friday. For the first time Arjun Rampal will be seen with Kajol and Kareena Kapoor in this family drama. A Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood hit "Stepmom", it will show how Arjun's character juggles between his ailing ex-wife and his girlfriend.

Veteran actor Anil Kapoor's big brother and producer Boney Kapoor is now planning to launch his 24-year old son Arjun Kapoor in a movie, which is likely to come up by next year.
