In spite of Manirathnam’s Raavanan receiving mixed reviews in all its versions, actor Vikram has been appreciated for his stunning performance. The international audiences have praised his potentials of having performed role-reversals as hero and villain.
It seems that the actor’s next film with director Vijay has been tentatively titled as Deva Magan, which happens to be the name of Sivaji Ganeshan’s yesteryear film. According to the sources, no objection certificate is yet to be received from the producers of Sivaji Productions.

Mumbai, May 18 - Tamil superstar Vikram, who makes his Bollywood debut with Mani Ratnam's "Raavan", says co-star Aishwarya Rai was equivalent to a hero in the film as she braved wounds, fever and insect bites while shooting in the forests. And Abhishek Bachchan, he adds, is the perfect brat.

Mumbai, April 30 - He is a southern superstar. As Vikram steps into Bollywood at the age of 44 with "Raavan", he is acutely aware of going where perhaps no Indian actor has gone before - playing the hero in the Hindi version and the villain in the Tamil edition.
He admits to being initially scared to be part of the Hindi version of director Mani Ratnam's "Raavan" but says his co-star Aishwarya Rai's brilliant performance in the Tamil venture boosted his confidence.

Mumbai, April 25 - Southern superstar Vikram is playing Raavan and Rama in Mani Ratnam's new film! Confused? So was the actor, who plays opposite roles in the Hindi and Tamil versions of the film "Raavan".
While in the Hindi version he plays Aishwarya Rai's cop husband Dev, in the Tamil version he plays the brutal outlaw Veera. Both the versions were shot simultaneously.
Vikram was constantly running in and out of the two completely different characters, makeup and languages, sometimes within half an hour.

Fans of Superstar Vikram shall see a lot of him in the coming days. Vikram is gearing up for his Bollywood debut with Raavan-Asokavanam, a bilingual film directed by Mani Ratnam. The actor’s superhero film, Kanthaswamy (Mallana in Telugu) is also set to release soon. But here comes a surprise for all Vikram fans. Some of his Tamil movies will now be dubbed in Hindi!

It nearly took a decade for this actor to top-the-charts and finally make it bigger than expected. Actor Vikram is making the headway to greater success from all his films. Well, it’s not just his ardent fans, but the entire town is eagerly looking out for his forthcoming release ‘Kanthaswamy’. The film is getting released this month with 900 prints simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu (Mallanna).

The film ‘Malanna’ with Vikram and Shreya in the lead has been made with a lavish budget of 40 crores. The film took almost two years to complete. Kalaipuli Thanu is the producer and Susi Ganeshan is the director.
The film is being made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. The film will also be dubbed into Spanish, Italian and English. Devi Sree Prasad has scored the music for the film. Superstar Krishna has done a guest role for the film. -Sampurn Media
Grand music launch planned for Kandasamy

Vikram starrer Kandasamy has sold its film’s release rights, satellite rights, audio rights for a record price and a grand release of its audio release is been planned by producer Kalaipuli S Dhanu. Abhirami Ramanathan, producer, theatre owner and distributor has bought the film’s city rights for Rs. 4Crores.
The film has been shot at beautiful locations of Africa, Spain and Italy. Shriya Saran is playing the lead actress in the flick. Vikram plays a secret investigating officer with Special Branch, adept at uncovering the mysteries of life and death. He's an unselfish and dedicated person who helps the downtrodden and fights against discrimination.
