Mumbai [India], Jan. 13 : Vin Diesel, who is in India on a two-day promotional tour for ' xXx: Return of Xander Cage,' has a long-standing connection with this country!
Excited about his visit to India, the actor, during a press-meet here, explained how his success and stardom has an Indian-connection.
"The first movie that my father took me to see was 'The Thief of Bagdad,' starring Sabu. From that moment, as a five-year-old, I always imagined movie stars could look different than the ones that work in Hollywood, like myself. So, there is a long-standing connection with Hollywood and India and my stardom and successful career," he said.
The 49-year-old actor was seen all praise for Deepika Padukone and thanked her for bringing him the opportunity to visit India.

Washington, Dec 30 : Vin Diesel recently shared a picture on Facebook , which hinted towards him being in or desire to be in Marvel's upcoming project 'Inhumans.'
The image, which shows the 47-year-old 'Fast and Furious' actor sporting an " Inhumans" T-shirt, standing in front of a graphic reading, "Are you Inhuman?," has created a buzz online, the CNN reported.
Diesel already voices the character Groot in 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' and the character he is rumoured to play in the upcoming superhero flick is Black Bolt, who hardly talks, but has voice that can demolish enitre cities.

Washington, July 31 : Vin Diesel has recently revealed that Australian rapper Iggy Azalea will play a cameo role in the upcoming ' Fast and Furious 7 ' movie.
The 'Riddick' actor said in an interview with France's Skyrock FM that it was the first time that the news has been revealed but they have casted Azalea in the movie, the Hollywood Reporter reported.

New Delhi, Sep 4 : Hollywood actor-producer Vin Diesel, whose movie "Riddick" is releasing Friday, finds his co-star Katie Sackhoff "sexy".
Sackhoff plays the role of Dahl, a sniper woman-cum-mercenary on the hunt for killing Diesel's character Riddick.
Sackhoff is said to have done some stunning action scenes in the movie.
“She came in guns blazing to play the role of Dahl, which I think is extremely sexy and formidable," Diesel said in a statement.
