Press Conference planned by Tiger Woods to apologize publicly for his affairs

Press Conference planned by Tiger Woods to apologize publicly for his affairsA press conference to apologize for the extra-marital affairs will be soon held by the golfer, Tiger Woods'' management company has announced.

At the end of November last year, the sportsman''s sexcapades were exposed following his car crash.

The Telegraph quoted Woods''s management company as stating in a release," Tiger Woods will be speaking to a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates at 11:00am EST Friday at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida."

It added: "Tiger plans to discuss his past and his future and he plans to apologise for his behaviour."

Mark Steinberg, Woods'' agent further said: "While Tiger feels that what happened is fundamentally a matter between he and his wife, he also recognises that he has hurt and let down a lot of other people who were close to him."

Meanwhile, the timing of Woods'' press conference is set to coincide with the Accenture Match Play Championship currently taking place in Arizona.

Many speculators feel that Woods wants to hurt his former sponsor Accenture, for cancelling his contract after the exposure of his multiple affairs by drawing attention away from the event.

However, the head of Accenture has said that the company did not have a problem with Woods'' timing.

The commissioner of the PGA Tour, Tim Finchem, also added that he didn''t think the timing was meant to annoy Accenture. (With Input from Agencies)
