'Raajneeti' Ruling The Chart, Karan Ruling Out Rift With Sajid

'Raajneeti' Ruling The Chart, Karan Ruling Out Rift With SajidBrilliant success of the Prakash Jha directed political thriller has laid one speculation to rest at least.

Till about a fortnight ago, there was an obvious tension between the film producers Karan Johar and Sajid Khan. Both thought that their respective flicks - 'My Name Is Khan' and 'Housefull - were the major hits thus far in 2010. But, Raajneeti's continued performance means that the two films are all set to be pulled down from the top position with one clear winner -'Raajneeti'.

In the meantime, MNIK maker too isn't holding anything against Sajid and claims that he was never upset with him to begin with. "I am not into the comparison game. Really, I will never compare. I don't know which film will eventually turn out to be the biggest of the year. However, I am glad that 'Housefull' has done well. Sajid is a friend and I don't have any issues with him", Karan sets the record straight.

But, till Raajneeti's release, Sajid had gone on record to state that 'Housefull' was the major hit of 2010.

Coming shortly, is Johar's 'I Hate Luv Storys' that is carrying fantastic reports too.

Karan said, "I think it is nice that a film like 'I Hate Luv Storys' is arriving now. I have met a lot of the youngsters who believe that old fashioned love stories are a thing of the past. No wonder, there has been quite some time since we saw an iconic love story. The last big one which the entire nation liked was 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'. Before that it was 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' while in the recent times I can only think of 'Jab We Met' to some extent."

So, it would be really interesting to see if Karan's next also manages to join the big leagues and turns out to be an iconic love story indeed. Starring Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor in the lead, the film will hit theatres on 2nd July. (With Inputs from Agencies)
