Rachel Uchitel jets to LA to meet top lawyer after Tiger Woods car crash

London, November 30 : The New York socialite at the centre of the mystery surrounding Tiger Woods’ car accident jetted to Los Angeles to meet a top lawyer.

Rachel Uchitel, who first made headlines in September 2001 after she lost fiancé in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, is said to be working to counter allegations of having an affair with the ace golfer.

The 34-year-old high-flying party organiser recently denied the claims, describing the cheating rumours as "totally untrue."

The former TV producer reportedly faced a pack of snappers as she stepped out of her New York apartment.

"I wish I could say something but I can''t," the Telegraph quoted her as saying.

Divorcee Uchitel met well-reputed lawyer Gloria Allred, who represented Paula Jones in her sexual harassment case against former US President Bill Clinton, and Nicole Brown Simpson''s family in the OJ Simpson case.

Woods, 33, is said to have had a heating argument with wife Elin Nordegren over reports of romance with Uchitel seconds before he crashed his car outside his 1.5 million-pound mansion in Florida. (ANI)
